At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to go to Avanos, a town located in the heart of Cappadocia. For centuries, pottery has been one of the most representative aspects of the culture of this region. Did you know that the first traces of this craft date back to 2000 BC? We'll learn about the importance of Turkish pottery. Then, we'll stop for a snack which will include grapes, pumpkin seeds, and wine. All the while, we'll have unbeatable views of the Cappadocia valley!

Next, we'll head to a pottery workshop, where we'll first see a demonstration in which an expert craftsman will make a clay piece using traditional techniques. Afterwards, you'll put this same process into practice and create your own ceramic object, decorating it to your liking.

You'll have a great time playing with the clay and turning the potter's wheel to form plates, pots, and other utensils! At the end of the experience, we'll drop you back off at your hotel 2 hours after pickup.
